SHA JI SHUI GAO - Sea Buckthorn Cream / Skin Repair Cream

Also known as: Sha Ji Shui Gao, Sea Buckthorn Cream, Skin Repair Face Cream.

A rich barrier cream for skin that has gone dry enough to crack. Shea butter and apricot kernel oil do the occluding, sea buckthorn fruit extract and rose hip carry the carotenoids and fatty acids.

This is what I hand people once a flare has settled and the job is rebuilding, rather than during the hot phase.

What's doing the work

• Sha Ji (Hippophae rhamnoides, sea buckthorn) fruit extract, unusually high in palmitoleic acid, the fatty acid your own sebum is largely made of.
• Retinyl palmitate at cosmetic strength, with panthenol and allantoin for texture.
• Bisabolol, the calming fraction of chamomile, for skin that stings easily.
• Evening primrose and safflower seed oil for linoleic and gamma-linolenic acid.

How to use

Apply 3 to 5 times a day, or as often as the skin asks for it. Patch test first.
