Zi Yin Jiang Huo Tang (Phellodendron Combination)

TCM actions: Nourishes yin and directs deficiency fire downward.

Commonly used for: Yin deficiency with fire flaring upward: a chronic dry cough with scanty or blood-streaked sputum, night sweats, afternoon fever, a dry sore throat, hoarseness, and hot palms and soles.

Tongue and pulse: Red tongue with little coat. Thin, rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
