TCM actions: Nourishes yin and drains deficiency fire.

Commonly used for: Yin deficiency with vigorous fire: afternoon or night fever, night sweats, hot palms and soles, hot flushes, sore weak lower back and knees, dizziness, tinnitus, and spontaneous emissions.

Tongue and pulse: Red tongue with little coat. Thin, rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
