Zheng Gu Zi Jin Dan (Calamus & Carthamus Formula)

TCM actions: Invigorates blood, dispels stasis, reduces swelling, relieves traumatic pain.

Commonly used for: Acute traumatic injury: bruising, sprains, contusions, swelling, and fixed sharp pain following a fall or blow.

Tongue and pulse: Purple tongue or normal. Wiry, choppy pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
