TCM actions: Strongly invigorates blood, breaks stasis, unblocks the collaterals.

Commonly used for: Entrenched blood stasis with fixed masses, chronic stabbing pain unresponsive to gentler treatment, and dark clotted menstrual flow.

Tongue and pulse: Dark purple tongue with stasis spots. Deep, choppy pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
