Yu Ping Feng San (Astragalus & Siler Formula)

TCM actions: Tonifies qi, consolidates the exterior, stops sweating.

Commonly used for: Wei qi deficiency: catching every cold going round, spontaneous daytime sweating, aversion to wind and draughts, a pale complexion, and fatigue. Taken preventively through cold and allergy season.

Tongue and pulse: Pale tongue with a white coat. Floating, deficient pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
