Yin Qiao San (Lonicera & Forsythia Formula)

TCM actions: Disperses wind-heat, clears heat, eliminates toxins.

Commonly used for: Early-stage wind-heat: fever with slight or no chills, sore throat, headache, thirst, and a cough. The first formula to reach for at the onset of a warm-pathogen illness.

Tongue and pulse: Thin white or yellow coat. Floating, rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
