TCM actions: Invigorates blood, dispels stasis in the chest, moves qi, relieves pain.

Commonly used for: Blood stasis in the chest and upper jiao: fixed stabbing chest pain worse at night, chronic stubborn headache, palpitations, insomnia, irritability, hiccups, and a dusky complexion with dark lips.

Tongue and pulse: Dark purple tongue with stasis spots. Choppy or wiry, tight pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
