TCM actions: Drains hidden fire from the Spleen and Stomach.

Commonly used for: Smouldering Spleen and Stomach heat: mouth and tongue ulcers, a dry mouth and lips, thirst, hunger with a poor appetite, bad breath, and irritability. Frequently used in children.

Tongue and pulse: Red tongue with a thin yellow coat. Rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
