TCM actions: Warms and nourishes the Stomach, moves qi, disperses cold and food stagnation.

Commonly used for: Stomach deficiency with cold and stagnation: a dull cold epigastric ache relieved by warm food and drink, chronic poor appetite, bloating, belching, and weight loss.

Tongue and pulse: Pale tongue with a white coat. Thin, slow pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
