Wu Pi Yin (Hoelen & Areca Combination)

TCM actions: Promotes urination, resolves edema, moves qi, strengthens the Spleen.

Commonly used for: Superficial edema with puffiness of the face and limbs, abdominal distension, heavy limbs, scanty urination, shortness of breath, and a full uncomfortable chest.

Tongue and pulse: White greasy coat. Soggy, slow pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
