TCM actions: Tonifies blood and strongly invigorates blood circulation.

Commonly used for: Blood deficiency with pronounced stasis: painful periods with dark clotted flow, delayed or scanty menses, fixed stabbing pain, and a dull dusky complexion.

Tongue and pulse: Purple tongue with possible stasis spots. Choppy or wiry pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
