TCM actions: Drains heat, breaks blood stasis in the lower jiao.

Commonly used for: Heat and blood stasis clumping in the lower abdomen with tension and pain that refuses pressure, restlessness or manic behavior in severe cases, dark clotted menstrual flow, and constipation.

Tongue and pulse: Purple tongue or a dry yellow coat. Deep, full, choppy pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
