TCM actions: Tonifies and invigorates blood, regulates menstruation.

Commonly used for: Blood deficiency with stagnation: pale or sallow complexion, dizziness, blurred vision, palpitations, dry skin and hair, scanty or absent periods, and irregular cycles. The foundational blood formula.

Tongue and pulse: Pale tongue. Thin, wiry or choppy pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
