TCM actions: Rescues devastated yang, warms the middle jiao, expels interior cold.

Commonly used for: Yang collapse with cold limbs to the elbows and knees, aversion to cold with curling up, watery diarrhea containing undigested food, absence of thirst, and profound lethargy.

Tongue and pulse: Pale tongue with a white slippery coat. Faint, deep, barely perceptible pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
