Shi Wei Bai Du Tang (Bupleurum & Schizonepeta Formula)

TCM actions: Releases the exterior, dispels wind-damp, eliminates toxins, reduces swelling.

Commonly used for: Early-stage skin eruptions from wind-heat and toxin: red painful swellings, boils, hives, and acne, with mild chills and fever and itching.

Tongue and pulse: Thin white or yellow coat. Floating, rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
