Shao Yao Gan Cao Tang (Peony & Licorice Combination)

TCM actions: Nourishes blood and yin, relaxes tension, stops spasm and pain.

Commonly used for: Cramping and spasm from blood and yin deficiency: calf and foot cramps, abdominal cramping, tight painful muscles anywhere in the body, restless legs.

Tongue and pulse: Pale or red tongue with little coat. Thin, wiry pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
