TCM actions: Nourishes and tonifies Liver and Kidney yin.

Commonly used for: Liver and Kidney yin deficiency: soreness and weakness of the lower back and knees, dizziness, tinnitus, night sweats, hot palms and soles, dry mouth at night, spontaneous emissions, delayed development in children. The foundational yin tonic.

Tongue and pulse: Red tongue with little coat. Thin, rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
