Huai Hua San (Sophora Flower Formula)

TCM actions: Cools the blood, stops bleeding, disperses wind, moves qi in the intestines.

Commonly used for: Wind-heat and damp-heat in the intestines with bright red bleeding before or after stool, hemorrhoidal pain and swelling, burning of the anus.

Tongue and pulse: Red tongue with a yellow coat. Rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
