TCM actions: Releases the exterior, clears interior damp-heat, stops diarrhea.

Commonly used for: Damp-heat in the intestines with foul-smelling burning diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever, sweating, thirst, and sometimes a residual exterior pattern.

Tongue and pulse: Yellow greasy coat. Rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
