TCM actions: Dries dampness, transforms phlegm, regulates qi, harmonizes the middle jiao.

Commonly used for: Damp-phlegm with a productive cough and copious white sputum that is easy to expectorate, chest and epigastric fullness, nausea, dizziness, palpitations. The base formula for most phlegm-damp presentations.

Tongue and pulse: Swollen tongue with a white greasy coat. Slippery pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
