Dang Gui Bu Xue Tang (Tangkuei & Astragalus Combination)

TCM actions: Tonifies qi to generate blood.

Commonly used for: Blood deficiency with heat from deficiency: a flushed face, fever and thirst with a preference for warm drinks, headache, fatigue. Also used for slow-healing sores and for postpartum or post-hemorrhage weakness.

Tongue and pulse: Pale tongue. Flooding but empty pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
