Da Chai Hu Tang (Major Bupleurum Combination)

TCM actions: Harmonizes the shao yang and drains interior heat clumping.

Commonly used for: Combined shao yang and yang ming pattern: alternating chills and fever, fullness and hardness of the epigastrium, hypochondriac pain, nausea and vomiting that does not resolve, constipation or foul diarrhea, irritability.

Tongue and pulse: Yellow coat. Wiry, forceful pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
