Chai Hu Gui Zhi Tang (Bupleurum & Cinnamon Combination)

TCM actions: Releases the exterior and harmonizes the shao yang simultaneously.

Commonly used for: A tai yang and shao yang combination: fever with chills, joint aching, mild nausea, epigastric fullness, hypochondriac discomfort. Frequently used for lingering illness that will not fully resolve.

Tongue and pulse: Thin white coat. Wiry, floating pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
