TCM actions: Nourishes and moves blood, regulates qi, eases delivery.

Commonly used for: Traditionally taken in the last weeks of pregnancy to support a smooth labor. To be used only under direct supervision.

Tongue and pulse: Assessed individually.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
