TCM actions: Clears damp-heat from the lower jiao and promotes urination, without the purgative action of Da Huang.

Commonly used for: The same damp-heat urinary presentation as Ba Zheng San, where the bowels are already loose or purging is not wanted.

Tongue and pulse: Red tongue with a yellow greasy coat. Slippery, rapid pulse.

Dosing: Standard adult dose is 6 to 10 g of granules per day, or 12 capsules per day, divided. Acute or severe presentations may go higher. Your dose is set on your intake, not on the bottle.
