XIAO CUO MIAN MO - Cleanse & Clear Face Mask

Sixty-five ingredients, and the longest herb list in the whole range. A weekly treatment rather than a daily product.

Castor oil base with lactic acid near the top, tea tree and eucalyptus for the surface, and roughly forty Chinese herbs behind them.

What's doing the work

• Huang Lian (Coptis), Huang Qin (Scutellaria) and Huang Bai (Phellodendron), the three yellows.
• Lactic acid fourth on the list, with the botanical acids from sugar cane, orange, lemon and sugar maple.
• Tea tree and eucalyptus oils, with papaya fruit extract for enzymatic exfoliation.
• Pu Gong Ying (dandelion), Xia Ku Cao (Prunella) and Mu Dan Pi (tree peony) among the rest.

How to use

Best every other day or every two days rather than daily. Apply to the face avoiding the eye area, leave on for 15 minutes to an hour, then wash off.

Jin Yin Hua as the cleanser, Fei Zi Shui during the day.
