ULTRA RICH VITAMIN E 10% - Emollient Cream

Also known as: Ultra Rich Vitamin E 10% Cream, Ultra Rich Vitamin E Cream.

Vitamin E is the second ingredient, ahead of everything except water. That is the whole idea: a simple, heavy emollient with very little in it to react to.

This is the one to try when a patient has reacted to the more complex creams.

What's doing the work

• Tocopherol at high concentration, second on the list.
• Hemp seed oil and shea butter for the barrier. Hemp seed oil is high in linoleic acid and contains no THC.
• Mel (honey), a humectant, and the reason this is not vegan.
• Panthenol and allantoin, with aloe.

How to use

Apply as often as needed.

Good to know

• 50ml. Dermatology M sells the same formula as a 75ml retail tube.
• Not vegan. Contains honey. Dermatology M's label prints it as "Mel" without the common name, which is easy to miss. Halal.
• Contains hemp seed oil. No THC, but worth knowing if a patient is asked about cannabis products.
• Contains shea nut butter. Avoid if you have a tree nut allergy.
• Patch test first. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
