Also known as: Ti Xuan Gao, T Ointment.

A drying ointment for thickened, scaling patches on hands and feet. Larch root bark is the lead, with zinc carbonate and rhubarb behind it.

Pairs with the matching tincture. The tincture goes on first and dries, then this seals it.

What's doing the work

  • Larix kaempferi root bark, the lead active and unusual outside this formulary.
  • Huang Bai (Phellodendron amurense) and Da Huang (Rheum palmatum).
  • Qing Dai as Polygonum tinctorium leaf and stem extract.
  • Zinc carbonate for the drying, matte finish, with Bing Pian (borneol) as the penetrant.

How to use

Apply 3 to 5 times a day. On feet, soak the area in Cu Pao Fang first where the skin is dry and scaling.

Pairs well with

Usually used with Ti Xuan Ding. Apply the tincture, let it dry, then this over the top.
