Also known as: Shu Min Mu Yu You, Soothing Bath & Shower Oil.
A soap substitute rather than a wash. Sixteen ingredients, mostly oils, and no detergent foaming system in it.
Gentle enough for a baby's bathwater, which is the clearest thing anyone can say about a cleansing product.
What's doing the work
- Shea oil and grapeseed oil lead the list, so it cleans by dissolving rather than by stripping.
- Gan Cao (Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Chinese licorice) to settle reactive skin.
- Sodium cocoyl amino acids, a mild coconut-derived cleanser, with calendula.
- Jojoba and castor oil for what stays behind on the skin after rinsing.
How to use
Add to bathwater, including a baby's, or massage directly onto wet skin in the shower and rinse.

Good to know
- 200ml. Dermatology M sells the same formula as a 300ml retail bottle.
- Not vegan. Contains polyglyceryl-3 beeswax. Dermatology M's retail listing for this product claims vegan, which the ingredient list does not support. Halal.
- Contains shea. Avoid if you have a tree nut allergy.
- Oils make a bath slippery. Take care getting in and out, especially with a child.
- Patch test first. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
