RUN FA JING YOU - Hair & Scalp Oil

Also known as: Run Fa Jing You, Hair & Scalp Oil, Nourishing Hair & Scalp Oil.

An overnight scalp oil. Jojoba and shea carry a long herb list, and it comes off with a mild shampoo in the morning.

For scalps that are dry and itch, where a shampoo alone never quite gets there.

What's doing the work

• Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis) and Zi Cao (Arnebia euchroma), the nourishing pair, high in the list.
• Bai Xian Pi (Dictamnus) and Ku Shen (Sophora flavescens) for the itch.
• Lavender, chamomile and Ormenis multicaulis to settle the surface.
• Jojoba and shea oil, with bisabolol and panthenol.

How to use

Depending on how bad things are, once a day or once every few days. Apply, cover with a shower cap, leave overnight, then wash out in the morning with a mild shampoo.

Pairs well with

Bai Bi Xi Fa Shui as the shampoo. Bai Bi Ding or Ce Bai Ye Ding on the scalp where a tincture is wanted instead.

• Contains shea. Do not use if you have a nut allergy, per the supplier's warning.
• Contains a long list of fragrance allergens from the essential oils: linalool, limonene, geraniol, citronellol, terpineol, terpinolene, coumarin and beta-caryophyllene. Patch test if fragrance is usually a problem for you.
• Contains a retinoid and indigo pigment. It can mark a pillowcase, so use an old one overnight.
