Also known as: Qu Ban Ding, Skin Brightening Tincture, Dark Spot Brightening Tincture, Brightening Face Tincture.
Nine ingredients, alcohol based, no oil. Dan Shen leads it and four aromatic roots sit behind.
It dries fast and it will dry the skin with it, so it wants a moisturiser after.
What's doing the work
- Dan Shen (Salvia miltiorrhiza) invigorates blood, and it is the lead here at position 3.
- Bai Zhi (Angelica dahurica) and Du Huo (Angelica pubescens), both classical in brightening formulas.
- Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis) and Zi Cao (Arnebia euchroma) for the blood side.
- Qiang Huo (Notopterygium incisum) to move things at the surface.
How to use
Apply twice a day to the area. Let it dry, then follow with a moisturiser.
Pairs well with
Qu Ban Shui Gao at night, Qu Ban Mian Mo as the weekly mask. Wear sunscreen, since the whole point is undone by sun exposure.
