QING FENG SAN - Green Wind Powder

Also known as: Qing Feng San, Green Wind Powder.

The bigger of the two drying powders. Nine ingredients where Qing Dai San has three, with alum and talc added to the mineral side and camphor and borneol for the cooling.

Use it the same way: on a wet surface, or mixed into a paste for a crusted one.

What's doing the work

• Huang Lian (Coptis chinensis) and Huang Bai (Phellodendron amurense), the two yellows.
• Qing Dai as Polygonum tinctorium leaf and stem extract, with Di Yu (Sanguisorba officinalis), classical for a raw surface.
• Cang Zhu (Atractylodes chinensis) dries damp.
• Ming Fan (potassium alum) and talc for the astringent, drying finish, with camphor and Bing Pian (borneol) for the cooling sensation.

How to use

Sprinkle lightly onto eroded or slightly weepy skin, or mix with oil into a paste for crusted areas. Two to three times a day.
