Also known as: Jiu Zha Ding, Balancing Tincture, Redness Reducing Tincture, Rosacea Face Tincture.

Eight ingredients, alcohol based, sulfur on the end. For skin that flushes and breaks out at the same time.

It dries fast and leaves nothing behind, which is the point on a face that cannot take another layer.

What's doing the work

  • Bai Bu (Stemona sessilifolia) leads it, third on the list.
  • Di Yu (Sanguisorba officinalis) and Huang Qin (Scutellaria baicalensis) for the heat.
  • She Chuang Zi (Cnidium monnieri) and Da Huang (Rheum palmatum).
  • Sulfur, the oldest topical there is for congested, papular skin.

How to use

Using the pipette, apply to the area, dab into the skin, and let it dry. Up to 2 to 3 times daily.

Pairs well with

Jiu Zha Shui Gao is the cream in the same pair. Tincture first, let it dry, then the cream.
