CANG ER ZI YOU - Nose Oil

Also known as: Cang Er Zi You, Nose Oil.

Seven ingredients in a jojoba base, dosed as drops into the nostril rather than applied to skin.

Start low. One drop each side, twice a day for the first week, then two.

What's doing the work

• Cang Er Zi (Xanthium strumarium) is the namesake and the classical herb for a blocked nose.
• Xin Yi Hua (Magnolia biondii flower), its traditional partner.
• Bai Zhi (Angelica dahurica) and E Bu Shi Cao (Centipeda minima).
• Mu Dan Pi (Paeonia suffruticosa) and Bing Pian (borneol).

How to use

Week one, one drop in each nostril twice a day. From week two, two drops in each nostril twice a day.

• Vegan and halal.
• Do not exceed the stated number of drops. Cang Er Zi is toxic if swallowed in quantity, and this goes into the nose rather than onto skin. Keep it well away from children.
