BAI BI GAO - Softening Ointment

Also known as: Bai Bi Gao, Softening Ointment, Softening Indigo Ointment, Softening Psoriasis Night Ointment.

The strongest thing in the softening range and an overnight product. Twelve ingredients, no water, no preservative system, just jojoba and beeswax carrying six herbs.

It goes on at night under occlusion. That is how it is meant to be used and it makes a real difference to how much gets in.

What's doing the work

• Huang Bai (Phellodendron amurense) and Qing Dai as Polygonum tinctorium leaf and stem extract.
• Huang Qin (Scutellaria baicalensis) and Huang Lian (Coptis chinensis), completing the three-yellow group with Huang Bai.
• Da Huang (Rheum palmatum) to move things along.
• Zi Cao (Arnebia euchroma) and Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis) for the blood side.

How to use

Apply 1 to 2 times in 24 hours. Once applied, cover the area with cling film or similar. It improves absorption and it saves your bedsheets. Stop if the skin under it becomes irritated.

Pairs well with

Too active for widespread or unstable skin. Use Bai Bi Er Hao Shui Gao or Zi Cao Shui Gao there instead.
