Also known as: Bai Bi Ding, Softening Tincture, Softening Scalp Tincture.
An alcohol tincture, nine ingredients, no oil in it at all. It reaches scalp and hairline where a cream cannot, and it dries fast.
Because it is ethanol based it will dry the skin. That is expected. Plan to follow it with an emollient rather than fight it.
What's doing the work
- Ku Shen (Sophora angustifolia) and She Chuang Zi (Cnidium monnieri), the classical anti-itch pair.
- Da Feng Zi (Hydnocarpus anthelminthicus) and Chuan Jiao (Zanthoxylum bungeanum pericarp), which adds the faint numbing quality.
- Larix kaempferi root bark, Rumex crispus (yellow dock) and San Leng (Sparganium stoloniferum).
How to use
Apply 2 to 5 times a day.
Pairs well with
Always follow with an emollient once it has dried. Zi Cao Shui Gao or Bai Bi Er Hao Shui Gao on the body, Run Fa Jing You on the scalp.
